He was recognized as a top performer and was a key contributor to cross-functional process improvement teams, experience he now applies directly to ophthalmic service.

He follows professional and collegiate soccer, football, and baseball closely, loves a good round of golf with friends, and finds peace in music and the outdoors. He spends much of his free time outdoors fishing, kayaking, and volunteering with a local sea turtle rescue. He’s even swum with the sharks in the open ocean and has a great white cage dive planned for the near future.
“My competitiveness helps me drive myself and my teams, holding each other accountable to be the best we can while also showing kindness and empathy when needed,” Sam says.
